Service Offerings

System Design

We will work with you to estimate your annual energy consumption, looking at your electricity bills, and we design a system with the optimal annual energy production and the most viable solution for your home or business.

Rebates and Incentives

There are some federal, provincial, city or county rebates and incentives available to you for clean energy installation so you do not have to pay for some or all the cost out of pocket.  We work with you to apply for and meet the requirements for the grants, loans and other incentives that apply to your location or situation.

Funding

We will work with you to source for funding for the installation of your clean energy system so you do not have to pay for some or all the cost of installation out of pocket.  We support you through the funding application and in the preparation of the required documentation for accessing the funds.

System Permits

The Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) which is the City or County office would require a permit or permits to be secured for your system.  We work with you to secure these permits so you meet the City or County’s requirements for your installation

System Approvals

All grid-connected systems, including solar and wind, are required by regulation to be pre-approved by the Wire Owner (e.g., FortisAlberta, EPCOR, ENMAX and ATCO) who owns and operates the electricity infrastructure around your home or business.  We work with you to secure the Wire Owner’s approvals.

System Installation

We procure the best quality equipment, and our highly trained and experienced installation team complete your system installation on an agreed upon date.  Our installers will work with you to plan the installation in a way that ensures a clean and safe workspace that respects your home and availability.

System Inspection and Commissioning

We commission the system to enable you to receive some credit on your bill for any excess energy you export to the grid.  Usually, an electrical inspector from the City or County conducts an inspection of the system to ensure it meets their requirements and Canadian electrical code.  Also, the Wire-Owner indicates when they have upgraded your service meter for bi-directional power production before commissioning.

Operation and Maintenance

We will walk you through your new system, including the performance tracking, and we answer any questions you may have on the operation of the system.  Our key equipment (e.g., solar modules and inverters) come with product warranties of 10 to 25 years.  We work with the equipment manufacturers to make sure your system continues to perform optimally so you are guaranteed of the long-term performance and value of your system.

Other benefits

We work with you to register for some additional benefits for clean energy which includes better rates for solar power generation through solar clubs, monetisation of carbon benefits, post-retrofit energy efficiency rebates etc.
